Gift Baskets for Seniors at Marian Park this Christmas

St. Matthew UCC is again donating gift baskets for seniors at Marian Park this Christmas, and the Missions committee appreciates your help!

How to help:

  • The Missions committee will provide the basket, and you fill it and return it by December 5th.
  • Pick up a gift basket after the church service from Joyce Miller in the narthex on November 14th, 21st, or 28th.
  • Place the full basket by the bookshelves to the left of the bulletin boards in the narthex by December 5th. Please put a note on the basket indicating if it is for a man, a woman, or unisex.

The Missions team will deliver the baskets to Marian Park.

Personal needs such as shampoo, bath soap, hand soap, body wash, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrush, dental floss, hand sanitizer, lip balm, deodorant, etc. Socks are always appreciated. If possible, allow the size to be visible.

You may also include a small sweet treat, a 2022 calendar or datebook, a small notebook, pens, or include a holiday greeting from you on behalf of St. Matthew UCC.

Laundry detergent is very popular. A bag or container of Pods is suggested rather than a container of liquid because it is easier to carry to the laundry area. If there is no space in the basket for the laundry detergent, just put it beside the gift basket when you bring it to church.

Please contact Joyce Miller if you have questions or if you would like an empty basket delivered to you to fill.
